The DARE TO
CARE FOOD BANK Emergency Food Program serves over 90,000
people each year. It relies heavily on food drives
sponsored by businesses, schools, and organizations to meet
the needs of these people.
- The Emergency Food Program is a
community effort.
- The Emergency Food Program is about
people helping people.
- Food drives create awareness of
the ever-growing problems of hunger in our own community.
- Food drives give us the opportunity
to teach our children to be sensitive to the needs of people
who are less fortunate.
How
To Sponsor A Successful Food Drive
- Leadership is important, so start
by selecting someone who is enthusiastic to coordinate the
drive.

to hold the food drive.

your drive through flyers, posters, e-mail, etc.

drives are important to the community.
